Yesterday (Feb. 1st), DJ D Teknics and I went to Church in the City Tornado Relief Center in Rowlett, to drop off donations. Thank you to those who contributed items. We had a chance to see some of the damage while we were in the area. It’s a humbling sight. Still much left to do out there. The lasting damage and aftermath is often forgotten, as time passes. If you have donations or want to volunteer, this is a great place to start.
I took a picture of the damage across the street from the relief center. I chose not to take pics of the other damage we saw while we were out there. You could literally see paths of where the tornado traveled leaving structures destroyed, while feet away, others were untouched.
